I have read through a lot of DIY patio posts and had a good idea what I should do. (dig out 7in, landscape material for weeds, 4in gravel, 1in sand, paver) But then I came across these Brock paver bases while shopping for materials online. Has anyone used it? Opinions? LINK
I live in Houston so ground freeze is a non-issue. I have good drainage in the area already. The planned patio is an 8x10 extension of the current 8x8 concrete slab already there. This product is supposed to replace the sand and (some?) of the gravel, also reducing how much material you must excavate. I haven't found much info online though.
